Accommodation & Meals

You’ll be staying in a gorgeous twin share rainforest hut at Sanctuary Mission Beach (pictured above) breathing in richly oxygenated rainforest air each night as you sleep. All huts have beautiful private garden ensuites. If you would like to upgrade your accommodation to single share for an additional fee, please enquire with us directly after booking your spot. Option to upgrade to deluxe private room also available.

All meals during your stay are catered for. They’ll be vegetarian based; fresh, homemade, and delicious.

How often are retreats held?

Our retreats are a rare event! We only offer retreats once or twice a year and it’s not an experience to miss. We have such an amazing grounded community of like minded souls, it’s about time we host a retreat so we could all get together.

How many people come along to the retreat?

We will take a maximum of 25 guests on Retreat - so book in early as interests for this rare event is very high!

I'm not a member of Lighten Up yet, can I still come along?

Yes, anyone is welcome to join us. Rest assured that we have an extremely down to earth and welcoming community so you will feel right at home.

What's the difference between twin share and single share accomodation?

In twin share you will be allocated a room buddy, you will each take one of the single beds. It’s a great way to get to know other guests. You can pay an additional upgrade fee to have your retreat hut to yourself or treat yourself and upgrade to a deluxe private cabin! Send us an email if you would like to upgrade.

If I book the Retreat + Yin Teacher Training option, will I be a qualified Yin Yoga Teacher?

Yes you will become qualified on retreat…after you submit your assessment. Keep in mind that to become a qualified Yin Yoga Teacher you will need to have your base level qualification as a 200 hr certified Teacher. You can do your 200 Hour Course either before or after your Yin Training, but you can’t start teaching others until you have a 200 Hours Certificate.

When do bookings close, and what are my options if I can't no longer make it after booking?

Bookings will close on 1 November to enable us to finalise all accomodation and catering requirements with the retreat venue - strictly no refunds can be made after this period for change of circumstances. You are however welcome to assign your place to a friend or family member in this event.
